Make yerba mate in the traditional way for a warm, calming coffee alternative. Steep similar to the way you would loose leaf tea, and add orange peel for added flavor.
Weather turned warm, or just prefer your bev’s over ice all year round? Use yerba mate in an iced latte, blended with almond milk. Steep the leaves, cool to room temp, and add almond milk.
Add a ½ teaspoon of powdered yerba mate to your overnight oats before tossing in the fridge to chill.
Make a nutrition packed smoothie (that’s not packed with sugar) to power you through to lunch by supplementing it with a teaspoon of powdered mate.
Steep loose leaf mate with white, green, or black tea to make your own kombucha at home.
Add mate powder to your homemade granola mix before baking for an added kick of caffeine.
