Enjoy Yerba Mate

Yerba mate can be prepared in a variety of ways, many of which you're already familiar with. Try it as a traditional hot drink using loose leaves and a strainer or infuser, or use a french press, coffee machine or tea bag as you would your regular coffee or tea. Cinnamon, cloves, grated coconut, honey or milk make excellent flavorings for the hot preparation, or try it iced with fresh lemon and a dash of sugar on a hot day for an unexpected twist on traditional iced tea.
